Another cut

The wild durant was dead and fading but the skittering hadn’t stopped which could only mean one thing, there was another pokémon incoming.

The blades of grass parted and the wild ant pokémon entered the battlefield, twitching its pincers menacingly.

I released Zorua in a flurry of twirls after which he landed majestically in front of his enemy.

He faded from sight, hitting durant with “Feint Attack” for a fair amount of damage. The wild one retaliated instantly, splattering more blood over the dark fur of my pokémon.

Zorua readied another attack and struck once more, with the same move, effectively killing the enemy.

I searched the area for my pokémon and was not surprised to check he had already entered his pokéball.
